Looking for a community-minded Project Architect

Pinnacle Architecture is seeking an experienced Project Architect to help deliver affordable housing, community health, senior living, civic, and other mission-driven projects throughout Oregon.

We are looking for a Project Architect who can lead projects with technical excellence, sound judgment, and a commitment to quality from concept through construction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, coordinating diverse teams, and turning ideas into successful outcomes. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects that balance design quality, functionality, budget, schedule, and long-term value.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and technical development of projects through all phases.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to move projects forward efficiently.
• Guide and mentor staff through technical leadership, delegation, and quality review.
• Research and apply zoning, building, accessibility, energy, and life-safety code requirements.
• Develop and review construction documents and specifications.
• Lead consultant coordination and interdisciplinary integration.
• Support permitting, bidding, and construction administration activities.
• Participate in proposal development, interviews, and client relationship building.
• Contribute to improving project delivery, quality standards, and firm-wide best practices.

 Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture (NAAB-accredited preferred).
• Oregon architecture license preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, public, healthcare, housing, or community-focused projects.
• Typically 10+ years of professional experience with progressively increasing project leadership responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position has an annual salary range of $85,000–$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
