WALLOWA COUNTY MUSEUM ADDITION
A Place to Preserve History
The Wallowa County Museum is housed in an 1888 historic building, originally Joseph’s first bank. The community understood the importance of preserving its rich history and began the process of evaluating expansion options. The abandoned adjacent fire hall was a perfect choice.
Pinnacle integrated the fire hall into the existing museum with a complementing facade and ADA upgrades to ensure all visitors could access the space. The expanded space now accommodates traveling exhibits and provides library staff and volunteers the area they need to index museum items.
This is a historical Pinnacle project completed in 2012.
