UCAN HEAD START

Planning for the Future

The United Community Action Network (UCAN) provides numerous public services from their campus. Pinnacle completed the newest addition, a spacious and striking Head Start Early Learning Center to serve the community. Previously the Head Start program moved locations almost every year. The staff is overjoyed to have a permanent home. The program includes seven classrooms, ample office space, and an interactive play area. The design is functional and inspiring to young minds and teachers.

Pinnacle originally designed the campus in 2008, which also includes an office building for community services and a food bank/warehouse. When UCAN wanted to add the Head Start, we helped them prepare their application for a Community Development Block Grant. We continue to help UCAN with its long-term planning.
