Energy Efficient Design Cut Heating Bills 30%
Ashland, Oregon, is home to many beautiful attractions, including the renowned Shakespeare Festival, the Historic Lithia Park, and Southern Oregon University. Nestled in this historical landscape are the Stratford Apartments, home to multigenerational residents and patrons of Ashland’s cultural community. Pinnacle completed ADA upgrades to ensure safety and an exterior renovation to invigorate the community.
Many of Stratford’s residents live on fixed incomes. Pinnacle’s design team made energy efficiency updates cutting heating bills up to 30%. Updates across Stratford’s eight buildings covering 4.3 acres included additional ramps, replaced sidewalks, and new handrails into the public access areas.
To add to the sense of community for residents and surrounding families, Pinnacle also remodeled the playground across from the apartments and added easy access, via a footbridge, to the neighboring creek. All of Stratford’s units have back patios allowing residents to personalize their living space. For the exteriors, Pinnacle oversaw the addition of new siding and alcove archways above all front doors. The Stratford Apartments provides a welcoming and safe home.
