Cultural Heritage and Preservation of the Environment

To better serve the Tribal Community, this medical facility incorporates a pharmacy, x-ray, dental and public health departments. Pinnacle met with each user group, who were scattered throughout Klamath County, to garner input and provide programming options to combine all these users for the first time. The new clinic eliminates the need to drive 40 miles to receive such care in Klamath Falls.

An incredible coordination effort, we worked together with the reservation synchronizing 22 different agencies that were involved in this project. It had four separate funding sources, five different code compliance agencies, an airport overlay zone, archaeological areas on site and significant off-site improvements.

The design emphasizes their cultural heritage and preservation of the natural habitat. During design and construction Pinnacle presented to the tribal community to keep all informed.
