Housing Authority of Washington County Rehabilitation Portfolio
Extensive renovation to create safe and comfortable housing for Washington County
The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) undertook a significant project to revitalize a portfolio of five affordable housing communities in three different cities, encompassing over 300 units across the county. Recognizing the importance of these communities as vital resources, HAWC is committed to ensuring their long-term viability through comprehensive interior and exterior renovations. Initially constructed in the 60s and 70s, these communities have various elements exceeding their useful life. Addressing a range of needs from structural repairs and water intrusion solutions to aesthetic enhancements, each community’s unique requirements are being met to elevate them to HAWC’s current standards, prioritizing safety and comfort for the residents.
