COW CREEK HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Cultural Relevance and Energy Savings
Community, tradition, and nature drove the vision for this exceptional new community clinic. This facility provides the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Indians with a much needed medical clinic and community space. A two-part planned project, Phase I includes a medical clinic with radiology and a dedicated pediatric exam room plus community classroom.
A natural color palette with rustic accents was used along with display spaces to incorporated Tribal artifacts. An energy analysis was performed to determine energy-saving measures and to reduce lighting and mechanical loads. Interior materials were chosen to limit the spread of infection.
