COLUMBIA RIVER COMMUNITY HEALTH

Meeting the Needs of the Farming Community

Columbia River Health, a non-profit organization, provides preventive out-patient care to the greater Boardman community. This facility was planned to meet the goal of serving over 2,000 migrant and seasonal farmworkers in Morrow County and almost 4,000 individuals under the federal poverty level.

Pinnacle designed an upgraded facility to provide quality, HIPAA-compliant medical care for Morrow County residents and their families. The design focused on creating a comfortable environment through the use of earth tones with natural stone and native basalt materials. The open reception and waiting room space boasts a family-friendly atmosphere with a separate children’s play area. The building included new spaces for a dedicated isolation room, x-ray, pharmacy, telemedicine AV capabilities, two medical procedure rooms, ten exam rooms, 20 medical providers, and administration offices. Anti-bacterial carpets and easy-to-clean, hygienic surfaces throughout the building were integrated to limit the spread of infection.
