Affordable housing community located on
Bend’s west side, across the street from OSU Cascades

Central Oregon’s housing shortage demands creative solutions and a variety of options—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Developed by Housing Works and thoughtfully designed by Pinnacle Architecture, College View delivers on that need with a 59-unit multi-family community featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes.

Location and Connectivity
Situated on Bend’s west side, directly across from OSU Cascades, College View offers residents convenient access to alternative transportation, including biking and public transit. The project enhances neighborhood connectivity with improved pedestrian routes along Simpson Avenue and new bike and pedestrian links to the north.

Community Engagement and Design
Collaboration was key. Our design team partnered closely with Housing Works to engage the local community, gathering input through an in-person meeting and ongoing virtual feedback opportunities. This inclusive process helped shape a development that reflects neighborhood priorities.

Designed for Families
College View is more than housing—it’s a community. Amenities include a playground, dog run, and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Residents also enjoy proximity to grocery stores, banking, healthcare, and recreational opportunities, creating a well-rounded living experience.
