Since 2017, Vazquez Painting and Construction has served the Central Oregon community. Now expanding their operations further into the Bend Central District, the company continues its commitment to community impact by developing a new two-story, multi-use building that supports both business operations and workforce housing.

The project involves demolition of the existing structure and construction of a facility to house their equipment, vehicles, and non-hazardous materials. The building program includes two shop spaces on the ground floor and six rental units above. These units are intended to support employees and other residents earning up to 60 % of the Area Median Income (AMI), with rents kept low to address the region’s growing need for affordable housing.

With a modern design that enhances the neighborhood’s character, this project not only provides affordable, comfortable living spaces, but also supports local businesses and their employees.
