About Pinnacle

At Pinnacle Architecture, we’re passionate about enhancing lives and strengthening communities. Since 1990, we’ve partnered with clients across Oregon to design spaces that house vulnerable populations, support community health, and deliver civic projects that serve the public. As a women-owned, federally recognized small business with offices in Bend and Portland, our 15-person team brings a personal touch to every project. We offer a full range of in-house services—from architecture and interior design to planning and sustainability—all delivered with care, creativity, and a deep respect for the communities we serve. Our size keeps us nimble, our team keeps us inspired, and our mission keeps us grounded in purpose.

Design Philosophy

At Pinnacle, our design philosophy begins with listening. Every project is shaped by the unique needs of our clients and the people who will live, work, and thrive in the spaces we create. There is no one-size-fits-all “Pinnacle design.” Each solution is tailored to reflect the character of the site, the rhythms of the community, and the aspirations of those we serve.

We thoughtfully consider how each building interacts with its environment, how floorplans support daily life, and how materials and finishes contribute to a welcoming, healthy atmosphere. Our goal is to design spaces that are purposeful, inclusive, and enduring.

Our History

Founded in 1990 by Peter Baer, a third-generation Bendite, Pinnacle Architecture has always been guided by a simple mission: enhancing lives and communities. In 2025, a new generation of leaders took the helm, continuing that commitment while shaping the firm’s next chapter. Today, Pinnacle is proud to be a women-majority-owned firm creating designs that positively impact people, organizations, and communities across the Pacific Northwest.
